Built on a Foundation of Service, Integrity, and Family
For me, real estate is a lifelong relationship business built on the values instilled by my father and mentor, Bill McDonald. Known throughout the local industry as a true “workhorse” and the ultimate “go-to person,” my dad approached real estate with a simple, no-nonsense dedication. His work ethic shaped everything I do today.
My own path to the industry began when my dad served as my real estate agent when I bought my first home right here in Colonial Village. At the time, I had a successful six-year career in pharmaceutical sales, but experiencing the thrill and pride of homeownership changed my trajectory. I realized I wanted to serve the Knoxville community exactly the way my father had for decades. Partnering with him taught me that good real estate agents don’t force a sale; we act as a trusted resource, providing the technical mastery and honest information our clients need to make the best decisions for themselves.
Years ago, my dad encouraged me to complete the advanced education and testing required to earn my real estate broker’s license. He foresaw the future, knowing it would provide a professional safety net and fulfill the state requirements should I ever decide to open my own firm. He was intentionally setting me up for the future.
When my father passed away suddenly on July 16, 2017, the devastating loss became a powerful catalyst. It deeply motivated me to pursue my dream of business ownership and carry forward the incredible professional legacy he left behind.
This firm is the exact opportunity he prepared me for. Now, I am proud to spread my wings and take full advantage of the bright future on the horizon for Knoxville, TN. To be a trusted resource and actively contribute to the growth of our community is a privilege I take very sincerely. When you see the McDonald Realty logo, I want you to recognize a multi-generational commitment to honesty, integrity, and taking absolute pride in what we do.
